Everything You Need to Eat at EPCOT (Around the World!)

We snacked our way “around the world” at the EPCOT world showcase and I would highly recommend doing this!

On our most recent trip to EPCOT – I made it my mission to eat around the world. If you read my Magic Kingdom blog post then you know that my favorite way to eat at Disney World is by snacking every 1-2 hours. This allows you to try all the delicious food Disney World has to offer. Plus with sharing said snacks, it can actually save you money too.

We went to EPCOT during the Flower and Garden festival, so some of the food I tried in different countries were part of that special event menu. I will make sure to indicate which foods were from that menu.

You may see people talking about eating or drinking around the world at EPCOT. I will say the eating part is worth it. It is also fun to get out of your comfort zone a little to try different foods in the world showcase (countries).

Here is a breakdown of what I tried from each country, except America. I honestly didn’t feel like wasting money or calories on a country I live in already (ha). Prices listed below are based off of current menu listings from the Disney World Website unless otherwise indicated. Always check before going on your trip as menus and prices can change.

Eating Around the World:

Norway –

Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe – “School Bread,” “Norwegian Kringla” and “Viking Coffee”

We started our day in Norway because we love the “Viking Coffee.” Traditionally it comes with alcohol but I was able to get one without it. This is a cute little bakery in Norway. We have also tried their “Lefse” and Mickey Cinnamon Roll on another trip. My husband’s family has Norwegian roots so his grandmother makes Lefse for Christmas every year.

“School Bread” –

“Norwegian Kringla” –

Morocco –

Tangierine Cafe – “Grilled Vegetable Flatbread” and “Orange Blossom-Saffron Cake”

This was one of our favorite “meal” type foods from the countries as far as quick service goes. The flatbread I am having trouble finding on menu’s, but the cake is part of the Flower & Garden Festival. They were both really good and approved my son as well. We did share both of these items between the three of us and it was enough to tie us over for an hour or two.

“Grilled Vegetable Flatbread” –

“Orange Blossom-Saffron Cake”

China –

Lotus House – “Pan-Fried Vegetable Dumplings”

The Lotus House is a pop-up booth near the entrance to the China pavilion that is located there for the Flower & Garden Festival. You would only be able to get this dish when the festival is going on. However, the “Lotus Blossom Cafe” is always there and have some good quick options that would be easily shareable.

When walking around China, they do have a cute little market called “House of Good Fortune” that you will see tucked into the right hand side. It is not a store to walk in, it is more of booth style you walk up to. They have all kinds of chips and drinks from China. We thought it was fun picking out two flavors we wanted to try. It’s worth it for the fun of it and I don’t think they were overly expensive, but the flavor wasn’t great.

The market would be off to the right side of my son when looking at the picture

Japan –

Hanami Outdoor Kitchen – “Frushi”

This is another place and item that is part of the Flower & Garden festival. It is fruit sushi that I found to be recommended over and over again while watching reels.

Mexico –

Choza de Margarita – “Empanada de Barbocoa”

This food is always there no matter events going on. You will see most people lined up at this location to grab a margarita but they do have a small menu of food too. This is located directly next to the Mexico pavilion (not across from it). I will say, you can get cheaper (and more) food at the quick service location right across from this one called La Cantina de San Angel which is directly across from the Mexico pavilion located on the water.

Italy –

Primavera Kitchen – “Bocconcini”

This is another pop up for the Flower & Garden Festival. All the information provided was found on Disney Food Blog. This was a VERY light snack to have. It did come in a very cute cup though! It is not sharable though.

If you’re looking for great Italian food and a sit down restaurant – I highly recommend Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria. We did a casual lunch here during our 2022 trip. My husband got the pizza and it was amazing. I tried my son’s spaghetti from the kids menu and that was also some of the best spaghetti I have had. I got the “Branzino” since I needed something lighter on my stomach that day and once again… AMAZING!

United Kingdom –

Yorkshire County Fish Shop – “Beer-battered Fish and Chips”

This is a menu item that can be shared whether you’re planning to share or not. The fish is huge. My husband was starving so he wanted his own this time and I shared mine with our son. We couldn’t finish it between the two of us though. It can especially be a lot with the beer-battered part and the heat.

Canada –

Canada Popcorn Cart – “Maple Popcorn”

We love stopping at this cart for the maple popcorn. Not necessarily for the taste, but because it counts for a $2 refill if you have the popcorn souvenir bucket which I highly recommend getting it if you like popcorn. We love popcorn and it is a cheap snack at any and all parks with refills being $2 and some change.

Germany –

Karamell-Kuche – “Caramel Popcorn” and Chocolate and Caramel Mickey Ice Cream Bar

This is little place in Germany is cute and fun to stop in. Smells are free (HA). For real though, it smells amazing with fresh caramel. It does get pretty crowded in there because it is a small space, but things move quickly, so don’t let it deter you.

France –

L’Artisan des Glaces – “Croque Glace”

This stop is a must! I feel like this is a unique experience and treat. It is ice cream pressed in a homemade brioche. The line is usually very long and it does take awhile, but it is worth it. We stopped to get these before finding a spot for the firework show. You can pick your flavor of ice cream and a sauce. I chose Coconut White Chocolate ice cream and chose not to do a sauce.
